Oituz Street, at the intersection with Aleea Buia, was closed on Tuesday afternoon because several works are being carried out on a building.
Car traffic on Oituz Street is blocked at the intersection with Aleea Buia due to some machinery carrying out several works. Thus, traffic jams are created, especially at peak hours, because drivers driving from Calea Dumbrăvii have to move “on the forbidden” due to the excavations on Oituz street.
“The Traffic Systematization Commission has issued a notice for connection works to the water and sewerage networks on Oituz Street, next to number 35. In this notice it is specified that the works are approved to be carried out between March 25 – April 5, 2024, under traffic, which will take place alternatively, on one lane. Considering the provisions of the notice, the representatives of the Local Police have notified the County Police Inspectorate to carry out checks in the field and apply the sanctions that are imposed”, said Mirela Gligore, spokesperson of the Sibiu City Hall.
