RAAL is preparing to produce armaments and ammunition. He is not the first Bistritean producer to target this area – Bistriteanul

The first manufacturer from Bistrita which, apparently, already produces large welded structures used in the army, is Comelf. The manufacturer became accredited a few years ago, and in 2019 added CAEN codes corresponding to this activity.

It seems that he is not the only one who has turned his attention to this area. According to Bistrițabusiness.ro, the RAAL company, which produces aluminum and steel cooling systems and heat exchangers, has recently added the CAEN code to the company’s object of activity: “Armament and ammunition manufacturing”.

Such projects fall within the area of ​​national security, and discretion regarding them is maximum. As a rule, a separate, closed section is used, and the information that comes out from there is limited.

RAAL produces, in its two locations, in Bistrita and Prundu Bârgăului, heat exchangers and complete cooling systems for agriculture, construction, industrial equipment, commercial and railway vehicles. Over 90% of the products manufactured by RAAL are exported.
