PNL Neamț MP, Mugur Cozmanciuc, announces new tax benefits for people who donate blood. “The President of Romania Klaus Iohannis signed today the decree on the promulgation of the Law for the amendment and completion of Law no. 227/2015 regarding the Fiscal Code.
I voted for the adoption of this law, which aims to regulate the establishment of the possibility of granting, by local councils, a percentage reduction of taxes on buildings and land owed by natural persons who provide proof of at least 3 blood donations during a calendar year , for a single building and land. The discount thus applied can be combined with the 10% bonus granted for the payment in advance, until March 31, including the reference year, of the entire tax on buildings and land due for a calendar year.
Moreover, even disabled people can benefit from the same percentage reduction of the building tax.
The exemption or reduction from the payment of the tax/fee is applied starting from January 1 of the year following the one in which the person submits the supporting documents“, reports deputy Cozmanciuc.
