According to meteorologists, in Bucharest, today, it will be windy and cool, but the thermal values ​​will remain higher than those specific to the date.

In the context of issuing the orange wind code, ISUBIF recommends the population to observe the following preventive measures:

  • avoid sheltering or passing near trees, poles, billboards, constructions with architectural elements that can be easily dislodged, as well as buildings under construction;
  • stop the activities carried out in open ground or at height;
  • close the windows of houses and other categories of constructions;
  • do not touch downed power poles or wires.

The yellow code for wind and gales is valid between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. for most of the country. According to ANM, the wind will have sustained intensifications throughout the country, with speeds of 55-65 km/h, and locally of 70-80 km/h. There will be storms in some places. In the high mountain area, gusts will exceed 90 – 110 km/h.

Thus, during this interval, the wind will have sustained intensifications in the counties of Satu Mare, Sălaj, Maramureș, Cluj, Alba, Bistrița-Năsăud, Suceava, Neamț and Botoșani, and especially in the afternoon in the counties of Teleorman, Giurgiu, Ilfov and the municipality Bucharest, Călărași, Ialomița, Prahova, Buzău, Brăila and the continental area of ​​Constanța and Tulcea counties.

There will be speeds in general of 80 – 85 km/h, and at high altitudes in mountainous areas, gusts will exceed 120 km/h, according to meteorologists.
