Andrei Volosevici – mayor of Ploiesti

The information campaign of the journalist Mihai Nicolae – “Allocate funds for the consolidation of hospitals in Ploiesti!” supported by the editorial staff Observatorul Prahovean has entered its second week. Today, a reader sent us an open letter to Mayor Volosevici, the one who should have been involved for the safety of patients and medical staff at Schuller and Pediatrics. The text was also sent to the mayor, who reacted in his characteristic style…

A reader sent us an open letter to the editor’s address for the mayor of Ploiești, Andrei Volosevici, in which he declared his support for the campaign “Allocate funds for the consolidation of hospitals in Ploiești!”.

This was initiated by the journalist Mihai Nicolae and is supported by the Prahovean Observatory.

We are publishing the full document, publicly thanking them for their support. You can also support our campaign by sending an email to the town hall at the address [email protected] or by contacting the mayor, deputy mayors and local councilors, whose phone numbers you can find HERE

Open letter addressed to the mayor of Ploiești, Andrei Volosevici:

“Hello! I cannot be in front of the town hall with Mr. Mihai Nicolae, but consider that I am also physically with him and the team of the Prahovean Observatory supporting the campaign “Allocate money for the consolidation of hospitals!”

OK, normally you had to BUILD new ones, normally you had to bury ALL the cables, pave ALL the potholes, build PARKING, normally you had to extend the green areas not give building permits even in the center , after that you had to put up fences to be able to walk decently on the sidewalks, not to take our children in the morning only on the road, normally you had to access funds for the development of the city, but surely you will come to me with some poem that will only make me vomit

If there was a modicum of decency and dignity, pretty much everyone in the system that makes town hall “run” should all resign and allow others to do what maybe you’re not allowed to do, or can’t do, or what you don’t want to do, but no, more recently you want to weld yourself in such “uncomfortable” chairs that you hold on to at all costs!

I’m ashamed of you, I’m sad that I HAVE to raise my child in such an environment, without parks, without safety, physically, acoustically and morally polluted, full of filth of all kinds and all categories, without prospects and without a future , even without hot water or heat, that’s the only way some see that there should be a European “city” in the years 2020-2030!

I wish you get what you deserve! After the deed and reward! If you think that you have done good to this city, it means that you will not mind this wish! If it bothers you, take a stand and at least now, in the twelfth hour, try to fix something!”

The text was sent by our reader to mayor Volosevici in the form of a Whatsapp message.

The mayor’s answer was one in his characteristic style:

Ma’am, I don’t want to make you “vomit”. Thank you!
