A code orange warning was issued overnight. This applies to the counties of Bihor and Hunedoara and is valid until 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday. There will be strong intensification of the wind with speeds in general of 80…85 km/h, in places stormy, meteorologists announce.
A second warning comes into effect on Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. and will be valid until 6:00 p.m.
The wind will have sustained intensifications in the counties of Satu Mare, Sălaj, Maramureş, Cluj, Alba, Bistrita-Năsăud, Suceava, Neamţ and Botoşani, and especially in the afternoon in the counties of Teleorman, Giurgiu, Ilfov and the municipalities of Bucharest, Călăraşi, Ialomiţa, Prahova, Buzău, Brăila and the continental area of Constanţa and Tulcea counties. There will be speeds in general of 80…85 km/h, and at high altitudes in mountainous areas, gusts will exceed 120 km/h.
These counties will be under Code Orange warning, and the rest of the country will be under Code Yellow warning.
