A code orange warning was issued overnight. This applies to the counties of Bihor and Hunedoara and is valid until 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday. There will be strong intensification of the wind with speeds in general of 80…85 km/h, in places stormy, meteorologists announce.

A second warning comes into effect on Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. and will be valid until 6:00 p.m.

The wind will have sustained intensifications in the counties of Satu Mare, Sălaj, Maramureş, Cluj, Alba, Bistrita-Năsăud, Suceava, Neamţ and Botoşani, and especially in the afternoon in the counties of Teleorman, Giurgiu, Ilfov and the municipalities of Bucharest, Călăraşi, Ialomiţa, Prahova, Buzău, Brăila and the continental area of ​​Constanţa and Tulcea counties. There will be speeds in general of 80…85 km/h, and at high altitudes in mountainous areas, gusts will exceed 120 km/h.

These counties will be under Code Orange warning, and the rest of the country will be under Code Yellow warning.
