The training ground near the city of Babadag hosts, starting from Monday, new military exercises with war ammunition, and traffic between the villages of Enisala and Sălcioara is restricted, the Tulcea County Council announced on Facebook, quoting an address from the Ministry of National Defense, reports Agerpres.

War ammunition shootings take place day and night until the end of this month, every working day of the week between 9.00 and 23.59.

“Circulation on county road 222 between the town of Enisala and the town of Sălcioara will be restricted by placing two barriers, and the towing will be carried out without interruption, at 60-minute intervals with 15-minute breaks in between, to decongest road traffic. In order to resolve emergency situations, contact will be made with the “Babadag” secondary Combat Training Center at phone number 0240/562805″, it is specified in the announcement of the county authority.

Drivers who want to get from the village of Sălcioara to Enisala or vice versa are asked to use the alternative route that includes the town of Babadag and the village of Jurilovca, a route that involves a detour of tens of kilometers.

“Failure to comply with the recommendations presented above can lead to serious consequences for which the Military Unit 02025 Babadag is not responsible,” the cited source also states.
