The number of service pension beneficiaries was, in January 2024, 10,886, down by 34 people compared to the previous month, and most of them -5,458 – are magistrates, according to data centralized by the National Public Pension House (CNPP).

In the case of beneficiaries from the judiciary, the highest average service pension was also recorded, of 22,505 lei, i.e. over 4,500 euros, of which 19,944 lei is the share borne from the state budget, and 6,497 lei from the state social insurance budget, it shows from the National Public Pensions House, according to Agerpres.

According to the National Public Pensions House, 1,364 pensioners benefited from Law 83/2015 to supplement Law 223/2007 regarding the status of professional civil aeronautical personnel in civil aviation in Romania, and the average pension amounted to 12,923 lei, of which 8,365 lei were paid from the state budget.

Service pensions for beneficiaries from the Court of Accounts were granted to a number of 603 people, the average being 9,707 lei, of which 3,140 lei the share borne from the state budget.

Also, 1,962 pensioners benefited from Law 130/2015 to supplement Law 567/2004 regarding the status of specialized auxiliary staff of the courts and Prosecutor’s Offices, the average pension being 5,702 lei, of which 2,918 lei supported from the state budget.
