According to researchers, the mineral water here has special qualities, keeping its properties and taste for about 6 months. In fact, the royal family from Romania consumed only the mineral water from Lipova, during the interwar period.

The bottling and marketing of water began in 1900, and in 1928 it was awarded a gold medal at an exhibition in the capital. Then he became “Borvizul de Lipova, the supplier of the Royal House”.

As a treatment facility, the resort dates back to 1892. Construction of accommodations began in 1902, and later, in 1905, work began on the hot tubs and baths. In 1933 the swimming pool was built, and from 1945 the resort was modernized.

Constantin Milos turned it into a tourist attraction

After the period of decline known after the Revolution, the Lipova resort was bought in 2000 by the investor Constantin Miloș. He managed to turn it into a tourist attraction, following the Hungarian model of thermal baths.

He invested in building a campsite equipped with bungalows, a beach with thermal water, terraces, conference rooms, a special place for shows and concerts. An Orthodox church was also built here, which awaits the believers arriving in the area. In addition, the prices are affordable.
