The Technical Analysis Commission within the Mureș Environmental Protection Agency recently decided, during a meeting, that the “Construction hall – warehouse for raw hides” project, proposed to be located in Sâncraiu de Mureș commune, Nazna village, Gării street no. 14, is not subject to environmental impact assessment.
According to the draft Decision of the framing stage, a document made public on January 30, 2024, on the website of the Mureș Environmental Protection Agency, the investment belongs to the company Con Depas Import Export SRL Târgu Mureș and provides for the construction of a light metal structure hall for the storage of skins unprocessed of animal origin, on a plot of land with a total area of 1,000 square meters and a built-up area of 206.54 square meters.
“Existing situation: currently, the land is free of construction. Justification of the need for the project: the beneficiary intends to expand his business, by collecting raw animal skins, with a view to their subsequent valorization, an activity little practiced at the county level, aimed at increasing production capacity, which is currently carried out on another site”, it is mentioned in document.
According to www.listafirme.ro, the main portal that provides information about companies in Romania, SC Con Depas Import Export SRL Târgu Mureș was established on December 30, 1994, its activity is “Wholesale of furs, raw hides and processed leather” and is owned by Koszta Lajos. At the end of the financial year 2022, the company reported business of 457,255 lei, net profit of 63,446 lei and 5 employees.
