Doina J., a 31-year-old woman, was found dead, stabbed in an apartment rented through the Airbnb platform, located on the boulevard Alsace-Lorraine in Amiens, France, just a few hours after she checked in.
Doina, a medical graduate at “Dănărea de Jos” University in Galati, was visiting a doctor colleague from France, planning to start residency training in the hexagon. Her dream of advancing her medical career in France was suddenly cut short by this unexpected tragedy.
The authorities have several suspects and have announced that extensive investigations are underway to elucidate the exact circumstances of the crime, sources from the central police station in Amiens said. At this time, the motives behind the attack remain unclear, with the main lead being robbery.
