Romanians who are connected to centralized heating systems could receive a postponement of another year for the installation of heat distributors. A project in this sense was submitted by the liberal parliamentarians.

“PNL submitted today, in the Senate, a draft law by which the mandatory installation of heat distributors in block apartments is extended by one year, until December 31, 2024”, announces PNL.

“The liberal initiators want compensation for the cost of purchasing and installing these devices for the vulnerable categories, within the limit of 750 lei/housing. The beneficiaries are the people who have already received the energy cards, with which they can pay bills for electricity, gas or heating”, the liberals say.

According to PNL, “this aid can also be used to pay the amount that exceeds the subsidy of 750 lei from the cost of the distributors”.

“The legislative project is initiated by the liberal Minister of Energy, Sebastian Burduja, together with PNL senators Roberta Anastase, Toma Petcu, Mihail Veștea and other parliamentarians. The president of the Energy Commission in the Senate and the president of the Industry Commission in the Chamber of Deputies are also signing,” says PNL.

The obligation to install distributors has been postponed twice so far.
