A Coca-Cola truck, the one we are used to seeing in winter commercials, caught fire while driving in a heavily trafficked area of ​​the Capital’s 4th sector. So, a Coca-Cola truck from the winter commercials caught fire on Giurgiului road in Bucharest, at the intersection with Drumul Găzarului.

Shortly after, the firefighters intervened with three special vehicles

According to images shared by passers-by on social networks, the fire broke out violently in the front of the trailer and spread extremely quickly to the tarpaulin. Fortunately, the flames engulfed only the trailer loaded with Coca-Cola, and the driver was able to save himself after he managed to disengage the tractor head.

Later, the firefighters intervened with three special vehicles, an extrication team and a SMURD crew. Unfortunately, by the time the fire department arrived, the Coca-Cola truck was reduced to ashes.

A car caught fire in the Unirii passage in the Capital!

On October 18, the representatives of ISU Bucharest Ilfov announced that the firefighters intervened to put out a fire in Pasajul Unirii. Inside, a car burned, with large emissions of smoke, according to the information provided by the authorities. There were no casualties, the firemen said. Five fire engines and a SMURD crew are on the scene. Traffic through the passage was blocked.

“We intervene to put out a fire in the Unirii passage. A car is on fire, with large emissions of smoke. There are no victims until this moment,” the representatives of ISU Bucharest Ilfov said. Also, people who were in cars in Passaj Unirii started to get out on foot. According to the firefighters, all the people in the passage were evacuated, and only the intervention forces remained inside.

“Around 9:30 a.m., we were notified of a fire in a car that was traveling in Pasajul Unirii, from the University to Tineretului. There was a lot of smoke in the passage. Traffic was partially blocked. Part of the cars of the other traffic participants remained in the passage, and the car drivers and the other passengers got out through the two entrances. The fire started in a car that burned completely. There were two adults and a child in the car who were not hurt. Fire crews entered the interior with heavy duty vehicles. The fire was located and extinguished in no time. The main problem was represented by the very large amount of smoke generated by the fire. In a few minutes, the automatic extinguishing systems managed to evacuate the smoke,” said an ISU representative.
