Bucharest. November 24, 2022. Fragedo, the most popular brand in its category, received, for the 4th time in a row, the award for the Most Trusted Meat Brand (chicken, pork, beef), confirming once again that it is always in the top of Romanian consumers’ preferences due to its superlative quality and perfect safety. The distinction, awarded today during the Forbes Brands for Kids summit, which took place at the Athenee Palace Hilton in Bucharest, comes as a result of the study carried out by Forbes Romania and the D&D Research Institute which investigated the safety, quality and trust enjoyed by the products for the children.

The quality of TRANSAVIA products is an integral part of the company’s sustainability strategy, and a basic element in achieving this commitment is the food and healthy nutrition of the chickens. In the 100% vertically integrated production chain, from grain to fork, exclusively chickens raised in their own facilities, fed with grains produced in the more than 10,000 hectares cultivated in the vegetable farms owned, are processed. The harvest is processed in our own Compound Feed Factory, thus providing daily fresh feed to breeding and breeding farms.

The concern for quality and safety is also demonstrated by the certifications held, TRANSAVIA being the only poultry meat producer in Romania that received, as early as 2018, the GolbaG.AP certification, the most important worldwide certification program that certifies the use, on farms and in production facilities, good practices in agriculture. At the same time, 100% of the chicken meat market leader’s poultry production is BRCGS (British Retail Consortium Global Standard) certified, which thus guarantees the company’s level of competence in HACCP, hygiene, food safety and quality systems, being the only producer at national level that holds the AA+ qualification.

In addition to quality, safety and tasty taste, as it should be”, the responsibility towards consumers is also proven by the fact that the company’s flagship brand, Fragedo, communicates honestly and transparently, an aspect recognized by the Romanian Advertising Council (RAC), which awarded for the first time in Romania the right to use the Ethical Brand seal on the TV spot.
