Ryan Gosling, who plays Ken in the hit movie ‘Barbie’, has revealed that he forbids his daughters from watching the production. Here are the reasons cited by the actor.
The Barbie movie set a new record in Warner Bros. history, becoming the studio’s highest-grossing film, grossing approximately $1.4 billion worldwide. Ryan Gosling recently won the Critics Choice Awards for Best Song with “I’m Just Ken”, beating out artists such as Billie Eilish and Dua Lipa. However, Ryan Gosling has stated that he does not want his daughters to see this film and has explained why.
What motivates Ryan Gosling
Ryan’s two daughters, nine-year-old Esmeralda and seven-year-old Amada, are passionate about Barbie dolls. So they were present on their father’s film set. The actor admitted that his “dolls at home” have already seen him in surprising poses, dressed in candy pink, with platinum blonde hair and tight jeans. However, the two have not yet had the opportunity to see the actual film, the actor told E! News.
“They saw small parts of the film and one day they came to the set when I performed a musical number. That’s all…”, the actor stated.
