Leonardo DiCaprio was photographed while filming his new role in director Paul Thomas Anderson’s film, currently titled BC Project.
The 49-year-old actor looks completely changed, moustached, unkempt in a pair of dirty jeans, a bathrobe and a hat on his head.
DiCaprio’s character appears to be going through a difficult time as he speaks on a payphone and sits down on the pavement, wearing the expression of a defeated man.
Filming takes place in Eureka, Northern California.
At one point, during a break, Anderson was also surprised with DiCaprio, who seems to be giving the Titanic actor new directions.

The plot of the film is currently being kept under wraps. Deadline revealed that the cast also includes Sean Penn and Regina Hall.
The action is set in contemporary times. Anderson is also producing along with Sara Murphy and Adam Somner.
The film’s budget would be close to 100 million dollars, according to Variety.
Anderson is the director of numerous critically acclaimed feature films, including Boogie Nights, Licorice Pizza and Punch-Drunk Love.

This year, Leonardo DiCaprio was not nominated for an Oscar for his role in “Killers of the Flower Moon”, but his co-star Lily Gladstone was. The actress stated that both she and her parents were outraged by this decision.
“They were angry”Lily said. “He was the first to send me congratulations, with confetti. I told him how upset we all were.”
“My nomination is to the same extent as his. I couldn’t have done what I did without his generosity as an actor and as a man.”Lily added.
The three-and-a-half-hour film received a total of eight Oscar nominations.
