The Romanian leu gained more than two pennies against the American dollar in the May 10 quotations from the National Bank of Romania, at a parity of 4.6134 lei to one dollar, being the strongest consolidation of the leu against the currency American, from April 10, 2024 until now.
In relation to the European currency, the leu continued to depreciate, one euro being quoted at 4.9756 lei.
Compared to the Swiss franc and the pound sterling, the leu gained ground, with one franc worth 5.0909 lei, and one pound sterling, 5.7832 lei.
