Thursday afternoon there was a traffic accident on the A1, kilometer 259, Cristian, on the Sibiu – Sebeș direction. A car and a shooting were involved.

“From the first investigations carried out, it emerged that, while driving a car on lane 2, a 56-year-old man from Alba county lost control of the direction of travel, collided with a tractor unit driven on lane 1 by a 50-year-old man from Cluj county, after which he was projected into the marginal parapet. The driver of the car and the two passengers, an 81-year-old man and a 75-year-old woman, were transported to the hospital for medical care,” says Elena Welter, Spokesperson of IPJ Sibiu.

The Sibiu firefighters intervened urgently to a road accident on A1 km 259, direction Sibiu-Sebeș, to a road accident involving a car and a truck. Two SMURD crews were mobilized to the scene, one of which was with a doctor, an extrication truck, a fire extinguisher and a truck for personal transport and multiple victims, and a SAJ crew with a doctor.

“The extrication crew acted to extract a person from a car. This was handed over to medical crews. Three people, two men aged 56 and 81 respectively and a woman aged 75 received medical attention on the spot. SMURD crews took over the two men who suffered various injuries. They were transported to UPU Sibiu, conscious. The woman was taken over by the SAJ crew,” stated Andreea Ștefan, Spokesperson of ISU Sibiu.

SAJ Sibiu intervened with a type C crew to a road accident on the A1, Sibiu – Sebeș.

“The SAJ and ISU crews provided medical assistance to three people, and the SAJ ambulance transported a victim, a 75-year-old woman, to UPU Sibiu, suffering from multiple traumas. Two other victims were transported to UPU Sibiu by ISU crews,” said Vasile Scridon, Spokesperson of SAJ Sibiu.
