The president of AUR, George Simion, was photographed on Thursday, in the first part of the day, entering the “palace” of Gigi Becali in Bucharest. For the moment, the reason for the visit is not clear.

Contacted by HotNews.ro, the spokesperson of AUR, Ștefan Avramescu, said that he did not know about the meeting of George Simion with Gigi Becali, being preoccupied at this time with the electoral campaign.

In the past, George Simion stated that Gigi Becali gave him 2,000 kilograms of cheese as a wedding present. Gigi Becali stated that the cheese offered as a gift to the AUR leader was worth around 20,000 euros.
