The firefighters from the Huedin Detachment were requested, on Thursday afternoon, to intervene in a road accident that happened at the exit of Huedin, an event in which only one car was involved, and a man was stuck inside.
“He was safely extracted by firefighters, being conscious and cooperative. The approximately 35-year-old man was transported to the hospital by the SMURD crew”, said the spokesperson of ISU Cluj.
A special vehicle with extrication mode and a SMURD ambulance took part in the mission.
According to IPJ Cluj, the road accident took place around 4:40 p.m., in the city of Huedin, at the intersection with Abatorului street.
“From the first investigations carried out, it emerged that a 53-year-old man from Săcuieu commune, who was driving a van from Oradea municipality, allegedly made a left turn, colliding with a car that was illegally overtaking , driven in the same direction by a 36-year-old man from Harghita county. The 36-year-old man was transported to a medical unit for further investigations,” the IPJ Cluj press release states.
