In 2024, innovation goes further and the P Series transforms into the HUAWEI Pura 70 Series, a lineup of three smart phone models with unprecedented camera attitude and performance, ready to explore new territories.

Therefore, the HUAWEI Pura series consists of: HUAWEI Pura 70, Pura 70 Pro and Pura 70 Ultra, a lineup that integrates a unique design and takes a step further in terms of imaging technologies and performance.

Forward Symbol Design – the triangle, the distinctive element of the HUAWEI Pura 70 Series

The HUAWEI Pura 70 series phones stand out for their modern and elegant aesthetics. The camera module has the shape of a triangle, bearing the name of Forward Symbol Design. It’s a big step forward with modern, minimalist and elegant geometric lines. The HUAWEI Pura 70 series thus aims to open a new direction in terms of style and finishes on premium phones. The Pura 70 Ultra stands out even more thanks to the unique embossed texture on the back, called the Starry Pattern.

The entire series is equipped with HUAWEI X-True™ screens, very clear, with a maximum brightness of 2500 nits and support for Ultra High Resolution display and AI HDR high dynamic display technologies. The phones also have an adaptive LTPO refresh rate ranging from 1-120 Hz, which means the screen automatically adjusts to the content being displayed. The HUAWEI Pura 70 and HUAWEI Pura 70 Pro are protected by Super Durable Kunlun glass, while the Pura 70 Ultra is even more resistant to shocks and scratches thanks to the additional Crystal Armor protection.

HUAWEI Pura 70 series – revolution in mobile photography

The HUAWEI P series phones have always been highly regarded for their imaging capabilities and the year-on-year evolution of cameras. The HUAWEI Pura 70 series carries on the legacy and introduces the new generation of Ultra Lighting XMAGE Camera. Complemented by the new HUAWEI XD Motion Engine, the capture of fast-moving subjects is taken to an incredible level. Thus, any moment will be reproduced in photos with maximum precision.

The flagship model, the HUAWEI Pura 70 Ultra, has been declared the “king of mobile photography” by DXOMARK, a laboratory that tests phone cameras based on millions of scientific measurements and analyses.

The flagship received 163 points, a record in the entire history of the DXOMARK charts. What makes the HUAWEI Pura 70 Ultra so special? First, it features a retractable camera, the Ultra Lighting Pop-out Camera, equipped with a 1-inch sensor and the largest physical aperture in the industry, F1.6.

This camera is able to “freeze” subjects moving at speeds of 300 km/h, such as racing cars or high-speed trains. The retractable camera structure also allows for up to 67% more efficient OIS stabilization on the 1-inch sensor.

HUAWEI Pura 70 and Pura 70 Pro are also equipped with Ultra Lighting camera systems, with a generously sized 1/1.3-inch sensor and F1.4 aperture, which ensures optimal light capture. In the case of these models, focus has been improved by 100% compared to the previous generation, and the anti-shake angle is 91% more accurate, with details being clear even in scenarios involving fast shots.

The Pro and Ultra models are also equipped with an Ultra Lighting Macro Telephoto sensor that allows minimum focusing distances of 5 cm and a 35x macro zoom. All three phones also have a powerful zoom, 100x for the HUAWEI Pura 70 and 200x for the Pura 70 Pro and Pura 70 Ultra. Image enhancement algorithms are also used, using the XF Fusion Pro high-image quality engine. Portrait photography has also received a lot of improvements and the phones are able to intelligently process light, shadows, blur and skin tones, accurately rendering facial details.

Flagship performance and architectures

The HUAWEI Pura 70 series also brings a perfect balance of battery life, fast charging and slim phone architecture. The Pura 70 model has a 4900 mAh battery and a thickness of only 7.95 mm. It charges by wire at 66 W and wirelessly at 50 W, by HUAWEI SuperCharge.

In the case of the Pura 70 Pro, the battery has a capacity of 5050 mAh, and the phone is 7.95 mm thick, charging at 100 W via wire and 80 W wireless, via HUAWEI SuperCharge Turbo. The top model, the HUAWEI Pura 70 Ultra, manages to fit a 5200 mAh battery into a body only 8.4 mm thick and achieves the same charging speeds as the Pro version.

User experiences have also been improved, thanks to the new EMUI 14.2 operating system, which ensures maximum fluidity in applications and games, carefully developed security elements, but also an original style.
