Huawei Pura 70 Ultra, recently launched on the Romanian market, took first place in the ranking of the DXOMARK technology laboratory for camera performance, obtaining an impressive score of 163 points.

The new Pura 70 Ultra model is distinguished by its advanced camera system, following the tradition of the manufacturer’s P series, known for its superior capabilities in photography. The smartphone is equipped with three photo sensors on the back: a 50 MP wide main camera with optical stabilization and retractable lens, a 50 MP telephoto sensor also with optical stabilization and a 40 MP ultrawide camera.

It also has the ability to shoot in 4K HDR resolution, and for selfies, it uses a 13MP ultrawide sensor.

What assessment did DXOMARK make

DXOMARK ratings highlight several strengths of the Huawei Pura 70 Ultra, including well-balanced exposure and contrast regardless of lighting conditions, vibrant colors when viewed on its HDR screen, and fast and accurate autofocus. The phone also excels in texture/noise behavior in most lighting conditions and zoom settings, as well as a natural blur in bokeh mode.

However, there are also some aspects that need improvement. These include local noise in video, ghosting in photos with moving subjects even in good light, and occasional color quantization issues in low light.

Although the video quality may be slightly below the photographic performance, the Huawei Pura 70 Ultra remains a great option for photography enthusiasts.
