Lenovo brought its newest gaming products from the Legion series to Romania in the last days of April, in an event organized in a place familiar to me, at Deschis Gastrobar. It’s on Splaiul Unirii and has good food and a generous space, with a very funky swing, which I really like. I saw a lot of Legion products there, from glasses to laptops, monitors, the Lenovo Legion Go console, but I stopped at the tablet Lenovo Legion Tab. Newly arrived with us, get a hands on below.
Basically we are dealing with a surprisingly light and thin device for one advertised as “of gaming“. It is made of metal and is manufactured following the design principles of other Lenovo products, including laptops and desktops. It is also auspicious that we have two USB-C ports, one “bottom” when you hold the tablet vertically and one on the side.
The goal is known from gaming phones: to be able to keep the device charged and not get confused when playing. processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 it is cooled with a generous vapor chamber, which is put to work by the 3 performance modes: Performance, Balance and Energy Saving. All games are enhanced by a haptic feedback system with quite powerful motors. Asphalt 9 felt satisfying on this device and it seems to me that they have hit a “sweet spot” with the diagonal and the design format. The tablet costs 2399 lei at eMAG.
