Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel made the controversial decision to replace Harry Kane at the end of the match played at the Santiago Bernabeu against Real. Bayern were leading 1-0 at the time when Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting replaced the English goalscorer. Joselu would turn the score around within 3 minutes to send Real into the final at Wembley.
Harry Kane was replaced by Tuchel in the 85th minute of the Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid. In the space of 10 minutes, Tuchel replaced all the attacking players he still had on the pitch.
