Romania, in 89th place among the countries preferred by foreign workers. More and more citizens of other countries are tempted by a job in our country. Not only those from less developed countries are interested in Romania, but even some citizens of European countries believe that our country is a good place to work.

Romania ranks 89th in a ranking of the most attractive countries for those who want to work abroad, according to an online recruitment platform.

Workers from Pakistan, Italy, Switzerland are among the most tempted to accept a job in our country, writes Hotnews.

Romania is in 89th place in the list of the most attractive professional relocation destinations, rising in the ranking compared to 2020, when it was in 92nd place, but below the rating of 2018, when it reached the 78th position.

Bucharest, on the other hand, gets a lower score than the national level, being placed in 118th place, according to the annual study carried out by Boston Consulting Group (BCG), The Network, The Stepstone Group and eJobs.ro.

Most likely, the reason is related to the much higher price of rents in the Capital.

“When asked what would be the reasons why they would choose Romania, 52% put first the quality of life, the fact that there is an environment that is friendly to families (49%), the number and type of jobs put on the market by employers (47%), the cost of living (40%), the hospitable spirit and inclusive culture (38%), the fact that it is a country where one would feel safe (34%), but also the fact that the formalities to access the labor market in Romania are less complicated than for other countries.

We lack, however, arguments such as the quality of life or the existence of a health system in which they can trust, reasons that can be found, however, in the list of those who would like to emigrate, in general, not only to Romania”, explained Roxana Drăghici , Head of Sales within eJobs.ro.
