The story of the young man from Pitesti with a smile on his face, but with a broken soul.
As we informed you, around 21:00 on the evening of May 8, a man was found breathless in the back seat of a Mercedes. His name was Bogdan Constantin F., he was 30 years old and from Pitesti.
He worked as a medical assistant at a veterinary practice on Fraţii Goleşti boulevard in the municipality, and the car was parked near the veterinary practice where he was employed. The medical team requested on the spot found that the man was in cardio-respiratory arrest. Resuscitation maneuvers were started, but unfortunately the efforts were in vain and death was declared, in which context the doctor on the ambulance notified the police.
The first to arrive were the police officers from Section 4 who found that the reports were confirmed, the case was then taken over by the judicial officers of the Pitesti Criminal Investigation Bureau for the continuation of the investigations under the supervision of a prosecutor from the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Pitesti Court and the case was opened criminal case for manslaughter. During the checks, the law enforcement officers found that the man had a bandage on his leg and it is suspected that he would have ended his days by intravenously administering a certain substance, the suspicion of suicide being supported by the fact that the bandage was wrapped on his leg with a gauze strip.
From the first data, it appears that the assistant was seen lying unconscious in the car by a co-worker, she being the one who called 112 requesting medical help. Moreover, the woman was present throughout the on-site investigations and provided some information to the investigators. According to the law enforcement officers, Bogdan Constantin F. was not married, had no children and did not leave any farewell note in which he could somehow justify the gesture he resorted to.
Also, from the first investigations it appears that the assistant had been diagnosed with depression by a specialist doctor who had prescribed him treatment, but it is not known whether or not the patient was following the prescribed medication.
The lifeless body was transported to forensic medicine and the cause of death will be established with certainty following the forensic autopsy. At the same time, biological samples were taken, and based on the results of the toxicological analyses, it will be determined what substance the suicide bomber administered.
