The Campulung Municipal Museum invites you to find out: “Who’s afraid of grey?”

--

In May, the Fine Art Department hosts the exhibition of the visual artist Diana Bell
“Who’s afraid of grey?”.

Exponent of the abstract contemporary trend, Diana Bell ne says about this exhibition: “I chose to bet on GRI considering that it is the common denominator of my works, the one that gives them coherence and unity. The GRI’s discretion is often misleading. It is a shade that seems to breathe and live in the shadow of other colors, but it is also the one that enriches them with meaning and gives them strength”.

For her part, Mrs. Ana Amelia Dincă, art critic, shares with us, among others: “Regardless of what is the point of inspiration of the images now, related to existential situations, to philosophical concepts or to impressions of certain urban contexts, the problematization of an abstract plastic situation situates Diana Bell’s chromaticism in the amplitude of an element of strength through the contrasts found under the aesthetic dome of gray”.
Thus, the museum is particularly pleased to present to the Muscelian public, in premiere, the artworks of an artist born in Câmpulung with a presence national and international.

OPENING OF THE EXHIBITION “WHO’S AFRAID OF GRAY?” IT WILL TAKE PLACE ON MAY 10, AT THE HISTORY AND FINE ARTS DEPARTMENT, STARTING AT 5:00 PM
