On Saturday, May 11, from 6 p.m., at the Bucharest Art Cinema in Pitesti, the movie “The solution book”, directed by Michel Gondry, starring Pierre Niney, Vincent Elbaz and Blanche Gardin.

Here is the presentation offered by the Pitesti Philharmonic: Marc, a bipolar and paranoid filmmaker, flees with his footage and production crew to a country house to finish his film the way he wants, not the producers. Once there, the team members become hostage to the director’s maniacal mood swings, which create endless diversions and impasses, bordering on comic and psychotic. The incomparable Michel Gondry gives us a clever comedy about self-centeredness and the “demons of creation”.
A ticket to this film costs 10 lei, with discounts of 50% for students and pensioners and 75% for students.
On Sunday, May 12, also from 6 p.m., at the same cinema, the film “WARBOY“.
It’s about – says the director Marian Crișan – “about a teenager through whose eyes we see the end of the Second World War, precisely the fall of 1944. The boy tries to save the family’s two horses by embarking with them on an initiatory journey, crossing the wild landscape of the Apuseni Mountains. The film can be called a “war film” or a “children’s film”, what attracted me most to this project when I conceived it were the western elements that I was happy to bring to the big screen“.
Daniel Bâliș, Reginald Ammons, Ovidiu Crișan, Adina Iftime, Ion Bechet, Dan Chiorean are the actors playing in WARBOY – the fifth feature film of the director already known to the general public for Morgen, Rocker, Orizont or Berliner, but also for the miniseries produced by HBO Romania – Valea Mută.
