In a few days, those who come to the market or church will have new parking spaces on the lot near Badea Cârțan in Timișoara. The space has been used illegally until now, as paid parking.

Another piece of land was recovered by Timișoara City Hall. The “private” parking lot near the Badea Cârțan square was, in fact, public domain.

The owner of the house next to the market thought to fence the land of more than 500 square meters and ask money from those who needed to leave their car somewhere to do their shopping in the market. City hall crews bulldozed in, tore down the fences, and have now begun setting up parking spaces for everyone.

“Normally, nobody saw anything in the Robu administration. Nobody knew anything. We do detective work, take case by case and do justice. We are reclaiming not only land, but also the dignity of the city. Timișoara has entered a new era, where theft is no longer the norm and clans can no longer . In a few days, those who come to the market or church will have new parking spaces on the land near Badea Cârțan“, said the mayor of Timisoara, Domnic Fritz.

In the almost four years since he has been in charge of Timisoara, Dominic Fritz has recovered several lands and buildings from the hands of clans and businessmen. Not long ago, Strada Cezar, blocked by the militia in the 50s, but kept closed for years by the Cârpaci and Stancu clans, was reopened.

The new body of the ENT clinic could be erected after the land illegally occupied by the Cârpaci clan was recovered. Nearby is the famous house on Loga 52, also under the administration of the town hall. An apartment in the Elisabetin area, held for years without ownership or rent, also by the Cârpaci clan, returned to state ownership at the end of last year.

Malul Begăi was also changed, in place of the Boss Terrace and the Gatsby Social Club, a leisure area for the people of Timisoara was set up.

The Thermal Beach-ZHH, illegally occupied since 2014 by the Syrian Hussam Al Hajjar was also reclaimed for the city.
