In the year with four rounds of elections, radios and televisions have a new source of consistent income: the money spent by parties and candidates on electoral advertising spots or on the presence of broadcasts.

The interest is high both in the central press and in the local press, as shown by an analysis by Pagina de Media, which studied the offers submitted so far to CNA, as required by law, by dozens of television and radio stations from Bucharest and the country , who want to broadcast election shows and election spots for a fee.

Among them, there are televisions with national broadcasting, such as Digi24, Realitatea Plus, B1 TV, Euronews, Etno TV, Taraf or radio stations such as Digi FM and Gold FM.

At Digi24, there are prices of up to 35,000 euros for electoral promotion. Thus, the television will charge 6,000 euros for a 30-second spot in any time slot, either during the day or in prime-time. Attendance at shows is charged differently:

The interval 11.00 – 15.00 – 25,000 euros for 15 minutes of promotion.

The interval 15.00 – 19.00 – 30,000 euros for 15 minutes of promotion.

The interval 19.00 – 23.00 – 35,000 euros for 15 minutes of promotion.

For the live or recorded broadcast of electoral rallies or meetings, press conferences or other campaign activities, without the editorial or technical intervention of Digi24, it costs 25,000 euros for 15 minutes.

At Antena 3, the 30-second electoral spot has the following prices:

Those who want to appear in election broadcasts, live or recorded, have to pay thousands of euros per minute.

Time interval 08.00 – 18.00: 2,400 euros / 1 minute
