Orlando Bloom, known for his iconic roles in blockbusters ‘Lord of the Rings’ and ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’, is now revealing the truth about the one major role he would never play again and which he considers forgotten.

In an interview with Variety, the 47-year-old British actor talked about this unpleasant experience in his career. Asked if he could recall lines from his various films, Bloom was stumped when it came to a particular film that grossed impressive sums at the box office. Although the film was a financial success, he admitted that he had “erased” that experience from his mind.

The British actor admitted that it was about the 2004 film “Troy”, in which he starred alongside Brad Pitt. Bloom admitted that he has no fond memories of this film production.

“Troy” was an adaptation of Homer’s epic and Quintus Smyrnaeus’ Posthomerica, and the cast included big names like Brad Pitt as Achilles and Brian Cox as King Agamemnon. Grossing over $497 million worldwide, “Troy” was one of that year’s summer blockbusters. However, for Bloom, this experience was not a pleasant one.
