In 2010, after many sacrifices and after subjecting her body to excruciating procedures, Celine Dion announced that she was pregnant again. At the time, she and her husband said they were “ecstatic” that they were having twins. Eddy and Nelson were born on October 23, 2010, also in Florida, just like their older brother.
Eddy was named after the producer Dion worked with on her first five albums, Eddy Marnay, who was like a father to her. Nelson was named after Nelson Mandela, whom Celine met while on tour.

Related to her husband, Rene, who he died in 2016at 73, from throat cancer, Dion said she still feels his presence around her.
