Actor Mihai Bendeac is preparing his first feature film, “Marriage”, and some of the scenes will be filmed in Oradea.
The announcement was made by the actor Răzvan Vicoveanu, from the Regina Maria Theatre, who conveyed, on social networks, that they are looking for people to be part of the cast for the few scenes that will be shot in Oradea on May 27.
In a short time, more than 100 applicants gathered, and the “casting” was closed, he said BIHOREAN Răzvan Vicoveanu, who recently starred in the film Libertate directed by Tudor Giurgiu.
The production team of the movie “Marriage” has not made public the places where the scenes in Oradea will be filmed.
The cast of the film written and directed by Mihai Bendeac includes actors such as Vlad Drăgulin, Dan Rădulescu or Mihaela Teloacă.
“It’s a period film, the first Romanian parody. The subject is a current one, gambling. I play the main role of a guy who ends up in a dramatic situation from a financial point of view and tries to marry a very, very ugly and very, very bad, but which is very, very rich”, detailed Bendeac at the beginning of last year for Cancan.ro.
The actor released his second book at the beginning of this year, “Jurnalul unui burlac – Dragă Mihai”, and all the money resulting from the sale of the volume will be directed towards the construction of the new hospital for children and adolescents from “Alexandru Obregia “.
Mihai Bendeac’s first book, entitled “Jurnalul unui burlac”, written in collaboration with his mother, Emilia Bendeac, raised over 235,000 euros, the amount obtained being fully donated to Fundeni Hospital, for the renovation of the pediatric oncology department.
Oradean fans of the 41-year-old actor will be able to see him in June on the stage of the Regina Maria Theater, where the comedy “Krecinski’s Wedding” will be performed.
