Chris Hemsworth and his wife, Elsa Pataky, made a style statement at an event dedicated to the Met Gala 2024. The 40-year-old actor will preside over the extravagant gala on May 6, alongside Jennifer Lopez, Zendaya and Bad Bunny.

The couple attended a dinner organized by the famous Anna Wintour on Sunday.

Elsa, 47, showed off her impressive figure in a pair of sequined shorts, a matching jacket, a lilac silk shirt and black heeled sandals despite the rainy weather.

Adding even more sparkle to her look, the Spanish star wore a pair of gold hoop earrings.

For his part, Chris wore a suit with a leopard print jacket, which he combined with a black shirt and shoes of the same color.

Elsa and Chris have three children together, aged between 9 and 11. The two have been married since 2010 and live in Australia.

“Dress code” at the Met Gala 2024

The Met Gala, both a parade of celebrities and a philanthropic event, is the main source of funding for the fashion department at the Metropolitan Museum (The Costume Institute). During the New York gala, the stars parade in extravagant outfits.

In a press release, the Metropolitan Museum pointed out that “to date, and since Met Administrator Anna Wintour took over, the gala has raised $223.5 million for The Costume Institute”.
